World Card Making Day

World Card Making Day is the first week in October where cardmakers of the world unite! What a wonderful way to get those creative juices flowing and get a jumpstart on those holiday cards. I always end up doing them at the last minute and it becomes more of a chore than something thoughtful! But not this year! I've already started to look for inspiration on the official World Card Making Day website.

In their gallery you can post your cards and descriptions and see other creations. It's a great way to glance at fresh ideas and you can search by theme or keyword. LizzyJDesigns hasa gallery on there! Here are some creative ones that are my favs:

Cute cards! I personally like the Anthology "Thanks". The "Little Birdies" reminds me of the style of this lady that's in Ellen's SU swap group...she manages to make everything into birds.

I think we should definately do something for "World Card Making Day"

Maybe have a virtual card making session? Where we'll all be online, and post maybe a card an hour? Or some other possible goal...then give our cards to a charity?

Just a thought....
